I met with Peg, Karen, and Greg Fenner to get feedback and input on how to proceed. Peg had emailed out a detailed review of the 7/19/18 section and had typos and content clarification/correction. Pastor Jason had made input responding to Peg's comments. Karen had focused on the talking bullet points page bringing up concern about level of congregation at-large involvement. The major concern of the group was implying broad congregation active participation in the vision development process therefore requiring lots of their time. Actually the process is a concentrated effort by the 12-person Vision Team keeping congregation informed. There are also two broader congregation events in the process. There were also suggested tweaks to the proposed email.
We decided we should:
- Process the revisions identified in the review.
- Get email out to 7/19/18 attendees, Church Council, and Elders with Talking Points and entire 7/19/18 section as pdf attachments.
- In mailboxes of email recipients 7/29/18: hardcopy of the email and the Talking Points page.
Later:
- Create video walking though the 7/19/18 section and let the above email recipients know of the video.
Note that in an earlier Paul/Pastor Jason review we had concluded the for now the webBook should be password protected on the web. This has been done with Username/Password provided in communication emails.
Also of interest -- the reviewers all were working from pdfs and did not go to the web version of the webBook -- interesting.
